Len Mount Turbine Huey Exhaust

This turbine exhaust is designed for the Len Mount Huey model with the Jakadofsky Turbine. The unique double wall construction keeps the external ring of the exhaust cool and can be mounted to a former for support while the internal section handles the hot exhaust. When installed the exhaust is directed slightly upwards into the downwash of the main blades.

This turbine exhaust is designed for the Len Mount Cobra and Jakadofsky Turbine engine. It is a scale version of the full size IR suppressor exhaust complete with directional vanes to guide the exhaust away from the vertical tail. The unique double wall construction allows the external ring of the exhaust to be mounted to a former for support while the internal section handles the hot exhaust.

The Odyssey positions the Jakadofsky turbine engine below the mechanics and this stainless steel exhaust has been designed to vent the exhaust to both sides. The exhaust openings are angled up to keep the tubes away from the ground and allow plenty of clearance for the canopy.

The Wye exhaust is most commonly seen on pod and boom turbine helicopters but can be used in scale models that can accomodate the exhaust ports on the side. This turbine wye exhaust allows the modeler to choose the correct angle for each side exhaust tube before permanently fixing them in place. This allows for a longer overall lifespan for the exhaust if the turbine is moved to a new fuselage or mechanics. Intake tube designed for the Jakadofsky turbine engine.
