One of the most common questions I get at events is where did you find those windshield screws followed by did you actually drill all of those holes? There is plenty of hardware available and each modeler has a preference, but we offer a few items that we use in our own models because it is the most scale we could find.

Here are several pieces of hardware that we have found particularly useful over the years.

Attaching windshields can be a real pain to make it look scale. Fortunately, we have found the right size screws just for this purpose. Each package includes 50 screws, remember to get the matching nuts.

Matching windshields hex nuts. Hold with pliers as the screw is inserted through the fuselage, the windshield and secured in place with the hex nut. Each package includes 50 nuts.

M3 Dynalock Washers (10 pair)

Dynalock washers are very unique fasteners. Working as a pair, these are vibration proof that can be inserted in hard to access locations, especially between flat parts. Once tightened they will remain in place without using any type of threadlock adhesive.
