As more modelers are building larger projects and we have plenty of customers flying the Huey and Cobra on Vario Benzin
gas mechanics, there is always some room to improve. Specifically, the stock gear ratio in the Benzin Trainer is designed for a sport
model which is adapted for use in the the Huey and Cobra. This ratio is too high for the 950mm main blades that really
define these fuselages.

While many experienced modelers including myself have made it work, there is always that feeling
that we are unable to get optimal performance from the gasoline engine because the gearing is not ideal for the larger
blades. The slow down gear kit solves this exact problem. The is gear manufactured from billet Aluminum and CNC
machined. Each pulley is precision tested for its balance and trueness.
By matching the gear ratio on the scale model to motor and the load (rotorblades)
on the helicopter, the engine and carburetor setup becomes much easier as the engine is now optimized to deliver
the perfect rotor head RPM within the normal engine speed and torque ranges. Includes machined pulley and matching
drive belt.
Building a Len Mount Huey, Cobra or similar large scale helicopter that uses both the Benzin Gas mechanics and
