Building a Len Mount Huey, Cobra or similar large scale helicopter that uses both the Benzin Gas mechanics and 900-950mm main rotor blades? This slow down gear kit is the perfect
way to really obtain the best performance from the gasoline engine. By matching the gear ratio on the scale model to motor and the load (rotorblades) on the
helicopter, the engine and carburetor setup becomes much easier as the engine is now optimized to deliver the perfect rotor head RPM within the normal engine speed and torque ranges.

As more customers are building larger models and we have plenty of customers flying the Len Mount Huey and Cobra on Vario Benzin gas mechanics there is always
room to improve. Specifically, the stock gear ratio in the Benzin Trainer is designed for a sport model which is adapted for use in the the Huey and Cobra
but is generally too high for the longer 950mm main blades. While many experienced modelers including myself have made it work, there is always that feeling
that we are unable to get optimal performance from the gas engine because the gearing.
