SPS008 Super Scale 1/6th N4 Dauphin Aerial Set $18.95  Assembly Instructions
Each antenna's base should be lightly sanded and in situations with the longer antennas, the base can
be sanded to match the exact contour of the fuselage. The DME / TXP antennas (#5) require additional work to add the wire
portions (not included). Using Ø2mm styrene or wire, cut two lengths, each 25mm long. Carefully drill a 2mm hole
into the top of both the #6 antenna mounts and match the angle with the front edge of the mount. Drill the holes half
into the mount. Sand or file the ends of the antenna rods and bond into the mounts.
In most cases, the aerials and antenna can be bonded before the body paint is applied to the fuselage. Using
medium or slow cyanoacrylate, bond each of the aerial/antenna to the fuselage. If you are adding these to a painted
fuselage, we recommend that the painted surface below the aerial/antenna be lightly sanded to improve the bond to the
fuselage. After the glue has dried, the aerial/antennas can be detail painted or weathered to match your model.
