For: Butane/Propane Gas
There are a few unique problems that are best solved by modelers. Many turbine engines like Jakadofsky use an onboard propane/butane
tank to start the engine, which commonly requires refilling at the field. The RC Gear Powercap gas filling valve provides a
solution to the many stop-gap fixes modelers currently use. Simply snap the Powercap onto a PowerMax canister and you are
ready to refuel your gas system on your model. Its that simple.

The gaseous system on turbine powered models presents a unique challenge because we normally need to
adapt commercially available equipment for our needs. Fortunately, the Coleman PowerMax canisters are
low cost solution available at most department stores that carry camping equipment. Each canister consists
of a 90:10 butane/propane mix which is just perfect for starting our turbine engine and the Powercap is the
ideal adapter for our models.
The Powercap easily attaches to a PowerMax gas canister and includes the 3 or 4mm tubing
to match the gas tubing on your model. Simply retract the plunger and snap on to the canister, lightly
depress the trigger to seal it, connect the tubing to your refueling value and press the trigger once
more to refuel your model's propane tank. The Powercap is manufactured with high quality Aluminum and
plastic components for years of reliable service.
