The new PRO5000 turbines have arrived. Intended for models in the 2.5 - 3m class, the PRO5000 turbine was designed for the Vario Aloutte III and includes the 24 tooth clutch bell to match the Vario turbine mechanics.

As with all of our current turbines, we carry the Vario clutchbell and other sizes to optimize the engine's output RPM to your model. Jakadofsky is continuing to design and pioneer model turbines to meet modelers changing needs and requirements for larger turbine engines.

All Jakadofsky engines include the standard console, but the mini console measuring only 3" x 1 1/4" x 1/2" can be better integrated into your fuselage. We have inventory in stock for those that want to upgrade from the older version.

The Jakadofsky turbine engine has been designed from the start for use in model helicopters. Why is this much better than other turbines on the market? The integrated direct drive gear box is extremely reliable and maintenance free and does not rely on questionable belts in the transmission of power to the helicopter. The turboshaft design reduces the engines output to 16,600 RPM at the clutchbell which correlates perfectly with our model helicopter drive-train design. This greatly improves the reliability because there are fewer rotating parts and no additional gear reduction is needed. The PJW engine operates more efficiently as the ECU (electronic control unit) only needs to regulate the engine speed 2-4K to cover all flying manuevers.

We are trying hard to maintain our price on engines, however due the very weak US dollar, prices may fluctuate. In any event, we will post new prices only if and when necessary.
