The following item lists provide a clearer view of the additional equipment that is needed to complete the Odyssey including field and safety equipment. Turbine powered helicopters should never be flown solo, a spotter should always be with you to observe the model, the environment and be prepared to use the fire extinguisher in the event of an emergency.

Under "Other Equipment" we list the radio set, type of servos, recommended gyro and other accessories that we do not carry. These are for referrence and can be purchased through your favorite hobby shop.

Other Equipment:

• 8-10 Channel FM/PCM Transmitter and receiver.

• Piezo gyro, heading lock & rate mode with adjustable pirouette rate.

• High speed rudder servo to match the requirements of the gyro.

• 3 Matched high torque (analog or digital) cyclic servos with a minimum torque rating of 132oz/in.

• Heavy duty switch harness, servo extensions and 1800-2400Mah receiver battery.

Field Equipment:

• Jet A-1 Kerosene with 5% Turbine Oil

• Suitable Kerosene container, fuel pump and 4mm PU (polyurethane) or Tygon fuel line.

• 30% Propane / 70% Butane mix in a refillable tank with 3mm PU fuel line.

• Rossi #4 replacement glow plugs.

• Battery charger suitable for 4.8v and 7.2v onboard batteries.

• High Point & blade balancer and high quality metric hex keys and screwdrivers.

Safety Equipment:

• Safety Glasses.

• CO2 5 Gallon Fire Extinguisher.

• Cell phone to contact emergency services in the event of a crash.
