An advantages of larger fuselage models is that there is lesser concern over the models becoming overweight which allows the modeler to spend allot of effort and time on scale detailing and less time being concerned that it will not lift off the ground.

The missile tubes, armament mounts and MMS shown in the photo are not included.

When it comes to expert scale modeling, the Kiowa Warrior scale helicopter has been built by the master modelmaker Len Mount. This particular Kiowa is very special in that it has a hollow main shaft and custom built support structure for the MMS, commonly known as the "eye in the sky" that has been scratch built by Len. Similarly, the missiles, missile tube and armament mounts were scratch built.

The purpose of our photo gallery is to inspire modelers by showing the type of detailing what is possible on a fuselage like the Kiowa. You will find details in the gallery that are not found in the fuselage kit as you would receive it and hence they have been scratch built. At the same time there are plently of available accessories that have been purchased from several hobby dealers. We have documented these whenever possible. Enjoy!
