When you first open this fuselage, it is extremely well packed and everything
is wrapped in plastic bags and then the paper and styrofoam peanuts are added to protect the components. After unwrapping each component you start to realize just
how much detailing has been done to this fuselage. Major openings are already trimmed but the windshield, door windows, and any maintenance hatches need to be cut out from the main cabin and the
doors or windows need to be fitted. The fiberglass has excellent surface finish and the parts are lightweight but reinforced in areas that will open or moved frequently.
What sets apart this fuselage is the attention to detail and the amount of work that is already done for the modeler. Inside the Dauphin, the major wooden formers are
already installed, including the retractable landing gear. The mechanics structure is also reinforced with Epoxy and fiberglass cloth. This is a
huge time saver for the modeler. The formers for the tail boom are precut but not installed as the type of mechanics to be installed will require changing some of
the cutouts to suit the tail drive for the Fenestrom tail unit.
