In simple installions, from opening the box to completing the installation can be done in a few minutes after deciding the lamp locations and positioning the control module in relation to the receiver. The fine wire for the lamps can be easily taped in place and routed through small access holes in the fuselage.

The system has direct support for landing light control through the servo connector. The landing lights are controlled from whichever channel the receiver is plugged into and are normally triggered using an available switch assigned to the channel. If there is no available channel, the control module can either be installed using a 'y' connector (not included) with your throttle channel (ESC) or on an auxiliary channel. Transmitters with mixing functions and an extra auxiliary channel can use a free program mix to turn on landing lights automatically at a given throttle setting.

Landing lights are the most common use of the remote ports on the module but they can similarly be used to control any other scale effect. It is a functional trigger that can be controlled from the transmitter. It can be used for nearly any other scale action, effect or to make components move on your model. A little creativity and some basic experimentation can go very far and be quite a lot of fun.
