Odyssey
LMT1010

Gas turbine powered helicopters are not for everyone, the engine and the relatively short production runs of the mechanics make the initial investment rather costly. On the other hand, model helicopters continue to re-invent themselves when new engines are developed and made available on the market. Jakadofsky is continually working to improve their engines, the PRO engine is latest version available with an increased RPM range rather than rely strictly on gearing.

The advantages of turbine power are many as compared to our piston driven engines in that there is no inherent engine vibration. The primary source for vibration is simple not there. Add remote electric starting from a simple push of a button and completely self-monitoring, automated startup and shutdown to ensure the turbine is operating at maximum, optimized output.

The Odyssey is a turnkey solution that arrives factory built to strict specifications and is designed for the world class Jakadofsky gas turbine engine. This combination results in a high quality, high performance helicopter that uses a very reliable engine.
