Thankfully, Approach Engineering has considered this exact problem when designing their Apache fuselage. The following items are broken down to give you a clearer view of the items that are required to complete the model. Due to the narrow fuselage width, some 30-50 glow powered models will work and some will not. The best check is to measure your helicopter mechanics at its widest point, normally it is at the main gear or the upper mechanics. The internal maximum width for this fuselage is 5 3/8" [13.6cm]. If your mechanics are slightly wider 1/4"~1/2" [6-12mm] then it is still possible to fit, but you will need to be creative in adding a detail to the outside to "hide" the extra width or relocate the problematic parts on the mechanics, but this is not alway possible. Being that this is built up fuselage, making this type of change is simple and easy as you can see the interference problems. In a fiberglass fuselage, it is usually a fight right from the beginning just to remove enough parts just to get the mechanics to sit in the basic fuselage.
